SILENZIO IS THE FIRST NEWS OF 2024, DURING WHICH

“SEI NELL’ANIMA”

WILL BE THE LEITMOTIF THAT WILL BE THE THEME FOR A NEW ALBUM, A FILM AND AN INTERNATIONAL TOUR

Five years after her last recording project, Gianna Nannini comes out with Silenzio, the new single available from Friday, January 5, on all digital platforms and at radio for Columbia Records/Sony Music Italy.

The opening piece of this new work, Silenzio is a profound reflection in music, a fixed eye on one’s feelings that – at the end of a relationship – find a shelter only in introspection.  The piano overture kicks off a rhythmic evolution that culminates in the energetic refrain. No one is to blame, one is alone in a constant pain that feeds on remorse: “Quello che non ho / Ora lo so / Sei tu il mio silenzio”.

A scratchy impression of her new artistic journey, Silenzio anticipates a new album coming this spring, an upcoming film, and an international tour distributed by Friends & Partners and co-produced with 3Monkeys that will see Gianna Nannini re-embrace her fan.

With five major European previews, Sei nell’anima tour – European Leg starts Nov. 25 at Hallenstadion in Zurich, continuing on Nov. 28 at Olympiahalle in Munich, Dec. 14 at Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Dec. 17 at Forum in Milan and Dec. 21 at Palazzo dello Sport in Rome.

The radio partner of the Sei nell’anima tour – European Leg is Radio Italia.
